Sénégal/Législatives 2022 : Après le vote ce dimanche, la Majorité et l’opposition sont à couteau tiré sur la victoire
Entre le Parti Présidentiel et l’opposition, qui a remporté la majorité des sièges ?
L’opposition a affirmé lundi avoir obtenu « une majorité confortable » à l’Assemblée nationale, peu après la revendication par le camp présidentiel de la victoire aux élections législatives de dimanche au Sénégal.
La coalition au pouvoir au Sénégal a également revendiqué la victoire, ce lundi 01 août, dans la majorité des départements sénégalais, après les élections législatives d’hier, apprend votre journal TogoNyigba.
Elle bénéficierait ainsi d’une courte majorité au Parlement si c’est confirmé. Un succès déjà contesté par l’opposition qui parle de « majorité préfabriquée » a ajouté une source proche à TogoNyigba. Ces élections législatives ont valeur de test pour l’opposition qui souhaite freiner les ambitions du président Macky Sall.
La coalition présidentielle a revendiqué une victoire aux élections législatives organisées dimanche 31 juillet. Un succès contesté par l’opposition qui parle de « majorité préfabriquée ». « Nous avons gagné 30 départements » sur les 46 que compte le Sénégal et des circonscriptions à l’étranger. « Ceci nous donne incontestablement une majorité à l’Assemblée nationale », a déclaré dimanche soir à la presse la tête de liste de la coalition présidentielle, Aminata Touré. « Nous avons donné une majorité à l’Assemblée nationale à notre président de coalition », Macky Sall, a ajouté Aminata Touré, sans donner le nombre de députés obtenus par son camp ni préciser s’il s’agit d’une majorité relative ou absolue. Elle a reconnu la défaite de sa coalition à Dakar.
La réplique n’a pas tardé du côté de l’opposition. Un responsable de la coalition dirigée par le principal opposant Ousmane Sonko, Barthélémy Dias, a parlé de « vulgaire mensonge » et de « majorité préfabriquée », sur la radio privée RFM. « La cohabitation est inévitable. Vous avez perdu cette élection au niveau national. Nous ne l’accepterons pas. Cette forfaiture ne passera pas », a précisé Barthélémy Dias, également maire de Dakar, sans donner de chiffre.
L’opposition a affirmé vouloir mettre à profit ces élections pour imposer une cohabitation au président Sall, qui espère, lui, conserver une large majorité. Ces législatives font figure de test après les élections locales de janvier, remportées par l’opposition dans de grandes villes de ce pays d’Afrique de l’Ouest réputé pour sa stabilité, comme Dakar, Ziguinchor (sud) et Thiès (ouest)
Rappelons que huit coalitions étaient en lice pour ces élections dont celles de la majorité et « Yewwi Askan Wi » (Libérer le Peuple en langue wolof), la principale coalition de l’opposition, formée autour d’Ousmane Sonko, arrivée troisième de la présidentielle de 2019. Celle-ci s’est alliée à la coalition « Wallu Sénégal » (Sauver le Sénégal en wolof), dirigée par l’ex-président Abdoulaye Wade. La moins bien placée dans un département s’engage à soutenir l’autre pour « imposer une cohabitation gouvernementale ».
Il faut signaler que ces législatives 2022 constituent un véritable test pour le président Macky Sall en vue de la présidentielle de 2024 qui s’annonce avec tous les dangers. Car du côté de l’opposition, le jeune opposant Ousmane Sonko avait déjà battu la Majorité présidentielle lors des communales de 2021 en prenant la Mairie de Dakar, la capitale, en face de l’opposition. D’aucuns voient déjà la chute de Macky Sall en 2024.
