Fait divers pour les uns, mais très pris au sérieux par les autorités japonaises. Le 16 mai dernier, un train à grande vitesse japonais est arrivé à Nagoya avec une minute de retard.
Ce retard a été très mal vu par tous, et les autorités n’ont tarder à ouvrir une enquête afin de déterminer les raisons de cet incident.
Les conclusions des enquêtes des autorités japonaises se sont avérées plus que surprenantes. Les faits révèlent que ce retard du train était plutôt dû à son conducteur qui s’était rendu aux toilettes un petit moment afin de se soulager pendant que le train roulait à une vitesse de 150km/h.
En effet, le conducteur de 36 ans a laissé le poste de pilotage du train pendant environ trois minutes après avoir demandé à un autre de le seconder le temps pour lui de se soulager de ses douleurs abdominales. Le pilote remplaçant s’est par mégarde assis sur un strapontin, car il était encore en formation.
Selon la compagnie qui exploite la ligne, il s’agit du premier cas d’un conducteur qui quitte le cockpit alors que son engin était en activité.
« C’était un acte extrêmement inapproprié. Nous nous excusons » a officiellement déclaré un haut responsable de la Central Japan Railway.
