Les luttes traditionnelles Evala en pays Kabyè se poursuivent dans une belle ambiance chaude dans le nord du pays. En effet, ce lundi 11 juillet 222, c’était la finale dans le canton de Tchitchao. Le chef de l’État Faure Essozimna GNASSINGBÉ accompagné de la présidente de l’Assemblé Nationale Chantal Yawa Dzigbodi TSEGAN a pris part dans l’après-midi aux luttes préliminaires dans le canton de Pya. Sur les terrains de Pya – Akéi et de Gnama, les empoignades ont mis aux prises les lutteurs de Pya-Akéi à ceux de Pya-Lao.
A l’issue de ces empoignades, les Evala de Pya Akéi s’en sortent victorieux avec 36 victoires contre 19 pour Lao. Les lutteurs de Gnama et de Kioudè, eux se sont affronté sur le terrain de Gnama. Ce sont les Evala de Gnama qui enregistre 14 victoires et 12 pour Kioudè. La victoire n’a pas changé de camp côté Ahoza.
Les lutteurs de Gnama gagnent ceux de Kioudè par 14 victoires contre 10.
Dans la matinée la toute 1ère finale a eu lieu dans le canton de Tchitchao sur le terrain cantonal de Gnanzida, sous les regards du chef de l’État. Le Président de la république avait à ses côtés, la Présidente de l’Assemblée Nationale. On notait également la présence des membres du gouvernement et des cadres de la localité.
La finale a opposé les lutteurs de la coalition Bou-Fatoudè a ceux de la coalition Kigbèlèng-Lowou-Hazé. C’était dans une ambiance chaude entretenue par les supporteurs, parents et amis venus encourager les lutteurs. Après de vives empoignades, les Evala de la coalition Bou-Fatoudè, se sont montrés plus combatifs. Ils ont battu les Evala de la coalition Kigbèlèng-Lohou-Hazé par 30 victoires contre 23. Du côté des Ahoza, la coalition Kigbèlèng-Lohou-Hazé renverse la tendance en prenant le dessus sur leurs congénères. Elle totalise 16 victoires contre 11 pour la Bou-Fatoudè.
