« Des individus, mal intentionnés » se livrent depuis quelque
temps à des activités frauduleuses sur le dos de deux entreprises togolaises. Il s’agit de la compagnie Énergie Électrique du Togo (CEET) et la filiale du groupe Allemand HeidelbergCement, CIMTOGO.
Ces deux entités économiques du pays ont émis des communiqués dans lesquelles ils mettent en garde l’ensemble de la population contre de tels agissements.Dans le communiqué de la CEET ces « individus mal intentionnés » « promettent à leurs potentielles victimes, le démarrage ou l’accélération des travaux de branchement ou de raccordement, selon le cas, moyennant des sommes d’argent en main propre ou via des transferts Flooz ou Tmoney ».
La CEET, qui bientôt sera avalée par le géant Français EDF, dit recevoir régulièrement de telles plaintes.Elle profite encore de ce communiqué pour rappeler la procédure des paiements pour ses travaux. Elle martèle en effet que, « Les paiements sont reçus aux caisses des agences de la CEET, sans facturation d’aucuns frais supplémentaires et que tout paiement est constaté par un reçu émis par la CEET ».
Quant à CIMTOGO, une campagne de promotion baptisée « Ciment Cadeau », serait organisée sur son dos en vue de doubler les consommateurs.Dans son communiqué, elle précise qu’elle « n’est pas initiatrice de cette campagne et n’est ni de près ni de loin liée aux initiateurs par un quelconque partenariat ».
