Berlin expulse l'ambassadeur du Tchad
Le vendredi 0 7 avril 2023, le Tchad avait demander à l’Ambassadeur extraordinaire et plénipotentiaire de la République Fédérale d’Allemagne, Jan Christian Gordon Kricke, de quitter le territoire tchadien dans un délai de 48 heures. Berlin vient à son tour d’ordonné à l’ambassadeur du Tchad en Allemagne Mariam Ali Moussa, de quitter le pays dans les 48 heures en réponse à une décision similaire prise par ce pays d’Afrique de l’Ouest la semaine dernière, a annoncé mardi le ministère des Affaires étrangères.
« En réponse à l’expulsion sans fondement de notre ambassadeur au Tchad, nous avons convoqué aujourd’hui l’ambassadeur du Tchad à Berlin, Mariam Ali Moussa, et lui avons demandé de quitter l’Allemagne dans les 48 heures. Nous regrettons d’avoir dû en arriver là », a déclaré le ministère dans un tweet.
« Nous regrettons de devoir en arriver là », ajoute-t-il.
Le ministère allemand des Affaires étrangères dirigé par l’écologiste Annalena Baerbock, a estimé que « l’ambassadeur Kricke avait exercé ses fonctions de façon exemplaire et s’était engagé pour les droits de l’Homme et la transition rapide vers un gouvernement civil au Tchad ».
« L’ambassade d’Allemagne au Tchad va poursuivre cet engagement avec nos partenaires sur place », a-t-il écrit.
Berlin assure avoir pris cette décision en « réaction à l’expulsion infondée » de son ambassadeur, Jean Christian Gordon Kricke.
Pour rrappel N’Djamena reprochait au diplomate allemand, qui était en poste depuis juillet 2021 à N’djamena, une « attitude discourtoise » et « le non-respect des usages diplomatiques » tels que prescrits par la Convention de Vienne.
