Bénin/Affaire TVA à Cajaf Comon SA : Saisis et évalués, des biens de Ajavon mis aux enchères à 101.850.000fcfa
Des biens de l’opposant Sébastien Ajavon mis en vente par l’État béninois. Saisis par le Trésor public le vendredi 01 juillet dernier dans son domicile duplex à Cotonou, ces biens de l’opposant sont déjà en vente avec des prix précis fixés par le Commissaire-priseur.
Dans une note, signée ce lundi 18 juillet, parvenue à la rédaction centrale de TogoNyigba, les biens sont regroupés en vingt-quatre (24) lots exposés à Akpakpa dans le premier Arrondissement de Cotonou du lundi au vendredi, de 09heures à 17h depuis le 18 juillet 2022. Aussi, la note consultée par TogoNyigba renseigne que les propositions de prix sont reçues jusqu’au 08 août 2022. Les biens de Sébastien Ajavon saisis et mis en vente pour ces enchères sont, entre autres, un véhicule automobile de marque Rolls Royce évalué à 80 millions de francs CFA, 140 meubles Louis XIV, des matériels informatiques. Leur valeur est estimée à 101.850.000fcfa, ajoute la note signée par le Commissaire-priseur du Trésor public. Cette saisie est intervenue dans un bras de fer qui oppose le Service des Impôts à Cajaf Comon SA de l’opposant Sébastien Ajavon. Signalons que Cajaf Comon SA n’existe plus depuis 2017. Les Impôts avaient parlé d’une fraude sur la Taxe sur la Valeur Ajoutée TVA évaluée à 160millions FCFA.
Cette affaire aurait débuté sous les régimes de Mathieu Kerekou (2001-2006) et Boni Yayi (2006-2016). Elle a refait surface sous l’actuel régime de Patrice Talon. Arrivé troisième lors du premier tour de la présidentielle de mars 2016, Sébastien Ajavon s’est rallié derrière Patrice Talon deuxième d’alors contre Lionel Zinsou, premier et candidat de la majorité présidentielle. En octobre 2016, Sébastien Ajavon entre en disgrâce avec la Rupture suite à une découverte de 18kg de Cocaïne dans l’un de ses conteneurs au port de Cotonou, avait expliqué les autorités portuaires.
Après une garde à vue, Sébastien Ajavon fut relaxé au bénéfice du doute par le procureur de Cotonou. En 2018, après la création de la Cour de Répression des Infractions Économiques et du Terrorisme Criet basée à Porto-Novo la capitale, l’affaire de la cocaïne refait surface. Convoqué, Sébastien Ajavon se rend en exil en France où il obtient jusqu’à ce jour le statut d’asile politique. La Criet l’a condamné par contumace à 20 ans de prison ferme avec délivrance d’un mandat d’arrêt international. Pour ces histoires avec la Justice et les Impôts, Sébastien Ajavon parle toujours de coups politiques, à l’en croire.
