Dorénavant, le Togolais Badanam PATOKI est le Président du conseil régional de l’épargne publique et des marchés financiers (CREPMEF).
Sa nomination a été entérinée ce jeudi 29 avril 2021, en marge d’une session extraordinaire du Conseil des ministres de l’union économique et monétaire ouest-africaine, tenue en visioconférence.
Le financier de formation, vient en remplacement au Sénégalais, Mamadou Ndiaye, qui a achevé son unique mandat de trois ans.
Cette nomination est une résultante des orientations de la conférence de chefs d’état et de gouvernement de l’UEMOA du 25 mars dernier.
Badanam PATOKI pilotera cette institution à partir de demain 1er mai, et ce, pour une durée de 3 ans.
En rappelle le CREPMEF est l’institution régionale de l’UEMOA qui contrôle la régularité des questions financières dans la région. Elle s’est faite en effet remarquer tout récemment dans la fermeture de certaines sociétés de trading, en l’occurrence le Global Trade corporation du jeune milliardaire togolais Ghislain Emerice Awaga.
