Les accidents de circulation sont devenus très fréquents au Togo. La vétusté des états de route de nos routes occasionne parfois ces graves accidents. Ce dimanche 21 mars, un camion chargé s’est retrouvé sous le pont de la rivière kara.
Un camion qui venait de Lomé pour se rendre à Burkina Faso a chuté sur le pont et s’est retrouvé dans la rivière kara juste après l’hôtel Mira.
Le conducteur d’un véhicule d’immatriculation burkinabé qui, transportait des marchandises, a perdu le contrôle de son engin a fini son parcours dans la rivière kara. L’accident était tellement grave qu’une personne a succombé et deux blessés enregistrés.
Les deux blessés ont été évacués au CHU de kara par les sapeurs pompiers. Notons que pour l’heure, les circonstances de l’accident ne sont pas encore élucidées.
Selon les témoins oculaires, le chauffeur serait entrain de somnoler au volant et également la vétuste du pont serait contribué à ce grave accident de circulation.
