Togo-Tradition | Prise de la pierre sacrée à Glidji. « Mia to éguin doumé to so Ékpé » : La pierre est blanche sale
Chaque année dans le village de Glidji, à 50 km de Lomé, les membres de l’ethnie guin se rassemblent pour le festival Epé Ekpé : d’une part, la réunification des familles, de l’autre jour de l’An, et culte religieux.
Cette année encore, la tradition ancestrale et le rite traditionnel « kpessosso » à été respectée en pays Guin à Glidzi-kpodzi dans la préfecture des lacs au Sud Togo.
Le peuple Guin ou Gê fait de Kpessosso une occasion de retrouvailles et de promotion de l’identité culturelleEn effet ce jeudi 2023 le peuple guin du Togo, venu du Ghana, du Bénin et aussi venu d’ailleurs ont célébré la 360ème édition de la prise de la pierre sacrée sur la place Gbatchoumé à Glidji, la capitale historique du Guindua ou Guinyi ou Guinyigban.
L’évenement autour duquel se déroule la fête est une pierre recherchée par un prêtre dans la forêt sacrée. La couleur de la pierre présagera le sort de l’année à venir.
Des chefs et traditionnels, des autorités politiques, administratives locales ont marqué de leur présence à cette cérémonie.
La 360e pierre sacrée est de couleur Blanche sale (un blanc terne qui ne semble pas pure). En tout cas, selon les prêtes Gê Yéhoué, c’est un symbole de paix, de bonheur, d’entraide, de solidarité et de prospérité, elle annonce de bonnes nouvelles pour les fils et filles du Lac en particulier et du togo en général

Ladite pierre incarne également l’harmonie, la stabilité, le pardon, la pureté. Pour que tout cela se traduit dans la réalité, plusieurs sacrifices sont exigés.
Rappelons toujours que la pierre bleue annonce une année de fortes pluies et de récoltes, le rouge est une année de guerres, la pierre noire par contre est un présage de famine, de maladies et de pluies dévastatrices et enfin la pierre blanche indique que l’année sera bénie .
Pour l’histoire le peuple guin, en fuyant les guerres pour s’installer au milieu du 17ème siècle à Glidji au bord du Lac Togo, ont fondé leur royaume sous le roi Foli Bébé.
Dans leur exode, ils ont emporté des attributs royaux : un trône sculpté dans l’ivoire et un autre fait d’ébène incrusté d’or, de même que ce qui les caractérise est cette fameuse pierre qui régente leur vie et dont la sortie marque une nouvelle année, une nouvelle vie, de nouveaux préceptes ordonnés par les divinités.
