Le Registre du commerce et du crédit mobilier (RCCM) du Togo franchit un pas dans sa modernisation. L’institution qui centralise les informations sur les entreprises s’est automatisée.

L’avantage avec cette numérisation du RCCM est qu’elle permet d’ « aller directement sur la plateforme pour créer soi-même le compte et commencer à faire des inscriptions. Or avant, il fallait faire l’inscription, payer (tmoney ou carte bancaire et attendre la validation par le greffe. Et après l’inscription, il n’est plus question que le greffier valide, c’est automatisé. Certaines fonctionnalités du greffe permettent une auto validation sous réserve de quelques corrections que le greffe pourrait demander, mais l’inscription n’est plus conditionnée par l’approbation du greffe avant qu’elle ne soit recevable », indique une source proche de nos confrères du site Togofirst.
S’il est vrai que la plateforme sert à « ouvrir son compte et/ ou de poser des actes d’inscription, de recherche, de modification ou d’annulation sans assistance ni approbation préalable du greffe-RCCM », « un contrôle de régularité des opérations effectuées est fait a posteriori par le Greffe », en vue de protéger les commerçants et leurs activités.
Le RCCM permet d’obtenir des bilans d’entreprise, des informations sur les dirigeants et les activités des entreprises, , y compris leurs états financiers à travers les sûretés mobilières, ainsi que toute autre décision judiciaire les concernant(faillite, vente, dissolution) etc…
