Togo- La LCT invite le gouvernement à renoncer à cette option de Pass vaccinal pour avoir accès aux bâtiments publics
L’imposition du pass vaccinal par le gouvernement togolais dans le cadre de la lutte contre la covid-19 pour avoir accès aux bâtiments publics, suscite toujours des réactions.
La Ligue des Consommateurs du Togo (LCT) exhorte les autorités togolaises à ne pas confisquer les droits des populations
Dans une déclaration rendue publique le 22 septembre 2021, la Ligue des Consommateurs du Togo (LCT) , s’insurge contre cette mesure du gouvernement à soumettre les populations à certaines mesures, notamment conditionner l’accès des bâtiments publics à la présentation d’un Pass vaccinal et l’exhorte à ne pas confisquer les droits des populations.
Voici ci-dessous la déclaration de la LCT:
DECLARATION DE LA LCT RELATIVE A LA DECISION DU GOUVERNEMENT DE CONDITIONNER L’ACCES DES BATIMENTS PUBLICS A LA PRESENTATION D’UN PASS VACCINAL
Dans sa stratégie de lutte contre la Covid-19, et afin de contraindre les populations à se faire vacciner, le Gouvernement Togolais a décidé de soumettre les populations à certaines mesures, notamment conditionner l’accès des bâtiments publics à la présentation d’un Pass vaccinal.
Cette mesure sans fondement juridique, mise en exécution depuis le 09 Septembre 2021, dans un climat de terreur, prive nos compatriotes de leur droit d’accès à des services publics. De plus, la fermeture des lieux de cultes, l’interdiction des séminaires et certaines activités impactent négativement l’économie. Ce qui augmente le phénomène de la cherté de la vie dans notre pays.
La LCT fait observer que dans le secteur judicaire, étant donné que les vaccins font l’objet d’énormes polémiques et qu’à tort ou à raison certains ne veulent pas du tout en entendre parler, la décision de conditionner l’accès des bâtiments publics à la présentation d’un Pass vaccinal pourrait décourager certains justiciables et acteurs du système judicaire de prendre part aux procès pour jouer leur rôle. Ce qui fait entorse au droit d’accès à la justice et à un procès équitable.
La Ligue des Consommateurs du Togo s’insurge contre cette façon de gouverner et rappelle au Gouvernement que dans la lutte contre la covid-19, l’Organisation Mondiale de la Santé met l’accent sur la nécessité de rendre accessibles et obligatoires les tests de Covid-19. Car ils permettent une prise en charge précoce des malades et freinent la propagation de la pandémie. Raison pour laquelle la LCT invite le Gouvernement à rendre gratuits et obligatoires les tests en lieu et place de la confiscation des droits les plus élémentaires des citoyens.
Dans cette phase de lutte contre la Covid-19, la LCT exhorte les autorités Togolaises à ne pas confisquer les quelques droits des populations déjà durement éprouvées, et invite incessamment le gouvernement, les instituions, les services publics ou privés à renoncer à cette option de Pass vaccinal décrié dans les pays concepteurs des vaccins. Elle réitère sa demande d’ouverture des frontières dans le but de permettre la reprise des activités pour les acteurs frontaliers.
