Le mandat de cinq membres de la Haute Autorité de l’Audiovisuel et de la Communication (Haac), sont à terme. À travers un arrêté, l’Assemblée nationale lance à candidature pour le renouvellement des cinq membres de la Haute Autorité de l’Audiovisuel et de la Communication. L’élection des membres de la Haac qui est du ressort des députés de l’Assemblée nationale tient compte du genre.
Conforment à la loi portant sur la HAAC, l’Assemblée nationale doit élire au scrutin secret cinq personnalités dont deux provenant des organisations professionnelles de la presse et trois pour leurs compétences pour faire partir des membres de la HAAC. Ainsi, un appel à candidature pour le renouvellement des cinq membres de la Haac est lancé.
Selon l’article premier de l’arrêté, « la candidature est libre et individuelle » sans oublier que l’élection des membres de la Haac tient compte du genre.
Pour rappelle, l’article 2 de l’arrêté précise que nul ne peut faire acte de candidature s’il ne remplit pas les conditions suivantes : être de nationalité togolaise, jouir de ses droits civils et politiques, faire preuve de probité morale et d’indépendance d’esprit, justifié au moins 10 années d’expérience professionnelle, ne pas appartenir à un organe dirigeant d’une formation politique.
