Niger : Trahi par son téléphone, Bazoum risque un procès pour « haute trahison et atteinte à la sûreté de l’État »
Le Conseil National pour la Sauvegarde de la Patrie (CNSP) annonce dimanche le 13 août 2023, un procès contre le président déchu Mohamed Bazoum , pour « haute trahison et atteinte à la sûreté intérieure et extérieure » du Niger.
A l’issue d’un week-end qui laissait penser à un début d’apaisement, les militaires au pouvoir menacent de le poursuivre pour « haute trahison » et « atteinte à la sûreté » du Niger.
« Le gouvernement nigérien a réuni à ce jour » les «preuves pour poursuivre devant les instances nationales et internationales compétentes le président déchu et ses complices locaux et étrangers, pour haute trahison et atteinte à la sûreté intérieure et extérieure du Niger», a déclaré le colonel major Amadou Abdramane, dans un communiqué lu à la télévision nationale du Niger .
Détenu dans ses appartements privés avec sa femme et son fils depuis le coup d’Etat du 26 juillet dernier, Bazoum serait tombé dans le piège des nouvelles autorités au pouvoir qui l’on laissé utiliser son téléphone et l’accuse de planifier la déstabilisation du Niger.
Le gouvernement appuie ses accusations sur des « échanges » de Mohamed Bazoum avec des « nationaux », des « chefs d’Etat étrangers », et des « responsables d’organisations internationales ». Mohamed Bazoum s’est entretenu plusieurs fois avec des représentants de pays alliés au Niger après le coup d’État, comme les États-Unis, la France… et des membres de son entourage politique.
Les communications sont interceptées et il n’est pas seul à être dans les jours et mois prochains, devant le juge. Il aurait communiqué avec certains chefs d’État de la sous région, avec des ministres et avec certaines puissances occidentales. Des accusations graves qui pourront conduire Bazoum en détention si la justice de son pays arrive à rétablir les faits.
Les auteurs du coup d’État au Niger ayant renversé le président Mohamed Bazoum ont dénoncé également « les sanctions illégales, inhumaines et humiliantes » de la Communauté économique des États d’Afrique de l’Ouest (Cédéao).
Les populations nigériennes sont « durement éprouvées par les sanctions illégales, inhumaines et humiliantes de la Cédéao, qui vont jusqu’à priver le pays de produits pharmaceutiques, de denrées alimentaires » et « de fourniture en courant électrique », a affirmé le colonel-major Amadou Abdramane, porte parole du CNSP.
Les militaires assurent également que Mohamed Bazoum « reçoit régulièrement la visite de son médecin ». Selon un conseiller du président renversé, une consultation a eu lieu samedi. « Après cette visite, le médecin n’a soulevé aucun problème quant à l’état de santé du président déchu et des membres de sa famille », ont ajouté les militaires.
Aujourd’hui avec cette nouvelle déclaration du CNSP annonçant un procès contre le président déchu laisse entrevoir qu’à moins d’un coup de tonnerre, l’ère Bazoum est en train de rentrer dans l’histoire même si les militaires au pouvoir se disent ouvert au dialogue avec la CEDEAO. L’on peut donc croire que la question d’une libération ou d’un retour de Bazoum aux affaire est closes pour les nouvelles autorités militaires au Niger .
