Un seuil vient encore de frapper la presse. Le journaliste Stanislas Ndayishimiye n’est plus.
Devenue l’une des voix raisonnant sur la Radio France Internationale, Stanislas Ndayishimiye a eu la passion du journalisme après sa licence de géographie à Bujumbura. Il a ensuite intégré la Radio nationale burundaise où il a fait preuve de ses compétences jusqu’à obtenir le poste du rédacteurs en chef.
Avec sa vie qui avait basculé en 1993 suite à la situation politique d’abord tendue dans le pays et les multiples massacres intercommunautaires, Stanislas a parvenu grâce à un réseau de solidarité à obtenir l’asile et l’obtient a 31 ans en France.
Atteri en France, sa collaboration avec la Radio France Internationale depuis la terre burundaise comme correspondant de l’Agence sonore de coopération de RFI lui a fallu une embauche.
Il dépose ainsi sa valise au Service Afrique de la radio mondiale en 2011 avant d’être envoyé à Abidjan comme correspondant permanent.
Sérieux et déterminé pour un travail bien fait Stanislas est l’une des voix de RFI qui multipliait ses reportages. L’une de ses dernières enquêtes sur la filière cacao, en Côte d’Ivoire retient de plus les auditeurs de cette radio à grande écoute.
Ce dernier a préféré par la suite vivre en France après son mariage avec sa famille que de retourner au Burundi.
Malgré sa volonté de faire connaître ses deux jeunes enfants leur pays d’origine, Stanislas n’a pas concrétisé ce rêve avant de quitter la terre des vivants le week-end dernier.
Né en 1962 dans le centre du Burundi, il a rejoignit le pays de Gaulle à 28 ans.
