Vingt-deux (22) personnes ont été “exécutées” à Tidermene, cercle de Ménaka au Nord du Mali, par des terroristes affiliés à l’Etat islamique. Cet assassinat odieux a été confirmé mercredi 15 juin 2022 par le Mouvement pour le Salut de l’Azawad (MSA), ex-rebelle signataire de l’accord d’Alger pour la paix et la réconciliation au Mali.
Dans un communiqué publié, mercredi 15 juin, le MSA indique que “des hommes armés ont fait irruption le 12 juin 2022 dans un campement, non loin de la localité d’Izingaz (…) et ont procédé à l’exécution sommaire de 22 personnes parmi lesquelles des déplacés venus chercher refuge dans cette zone ». Selon le communiqué, les assaillants seraient venus à moto pour commettre leur forfaiture.
Le MSA a condamné “ces graves atteintes aux droits humains » et a appelé la MINUSMA et les organisations de défense des droits de l’Homme à “diligenter une enquête pour traduire les auteurs de ces crimes devant les juridictions compétentes ».
Le 13 juin dernier, l’émissaire de l’ONU pour le Mali, El-Ghassim Wane, a dit redouter une attaque jihadiste contre la ville de Ménaka, après le départ de l’armée française de cette localité. La force Barkhane a quitté officiellement sa base de Ménaka le 13 juin 2022, quatre ans après son installation.
En mars dernier, de violents affrontements se sont éclatés entre le MSA et des hommes armés affiliés à Daech dans la localité de Tamalate, région de Ménaka au nord du Mali, près de la frontière avec le Niger. Une dizaine de civils, deux combattants du MSA et deux assaillants avaient été tués dans ces affrontements.
