Lancement de la 1ere édition du Tournoi « Diaspora pour la Citoyenneté » : Célébration de la Fraternité et du vivre-ensemble

Le samedi 7 octobre 2023, une journée ensoleillée a marqué le début de la première édition du tournoi « Diaspora pour la Citoyenneté » sur le terrain du Lycée Adidogomé II au Togo. L’événement a réuni des responsables de clubs locaux, des représentants du district de football et des autorités locales. L’équipe d’Abeilles FC a ouvert le tournoi en affrontant Fontaine FC dans un match qui s’est conclu sur un score nul. La deuxième confrontation opposant Acropolis FC à Ezobibi FC a également abouti à un résultat équitable.

Sous un ciel clément illuminant la ville de Lomé et ses environs, de nombreux jeunes se sont rassemblés sur le terrain de football du Lycée Adidogomé II pour assister à cet événement inaugural. Les organisateurs de ce tournoi ont pour objectif de créer un espace propice aux échanges sur la citoyenneté et le vivre-ensemble à travers des activités sportives saines.

L’initiative, portée par un réseau de professionnels togolais résidant principalement en France, au Luxembourg, en Allemagne, en Belgique, à Monaco, au Canada, aux États-Unis et au-delà, vise à réunir les jeunes du Grand Lomé et de ses environs autour de valeurs sportives. Elle met également l’accent sur la promotion de la citoyenneté et le renforcement des liens de fraternité et de cohésion sociale au sein de la communauté.

Au total, 12 équipes compétiront tout au long du tournoi pour remporter le trophée et les prix en jeu. Cette première édition du tournoi « Diaspora pour la Citoyenneté » s’annonce comme un événement sportif passionnant, mais également comme une occasion unique de célébrer l’esprit de fraternité et d’encourager la participation citoyenne au sein de la jeunesse togolaise.
