Côte d’Ivoire : affaire des 46 soldats ivoiriens détenus à Bamako, Abidjan compte saisir la CEDEAO
Les autorités ivoiriennes demandent la tenue, dans les meilleurs délais, d’une réunion extraordinaire des chefs d’Etats et de gouvernement de la Cedeao pour examiner la crise avec le Mali en vue de la libération de ses soldats.Le porte-parole du gouvernement ivoirien, Amadou Coulibaly, a déclaré mercredi à l’issue d’un Conseil des ministres que « la Côte d’Ivoire avait saisi la Cedeao en vue d’une réunion extraordinaire des chefs d’Etat (de l’organisation) sur la situation » des 46 soldats ivoiriens encore détenus au Mali.
Lors d’une réunion du Conseil national de sécurité tenue ce jour au palais présidentiel, le chef de l’Etat Alassane Ouattara a instruit officiellement la ministre des Affaires étrangères afin de « saisir la Commission de la Cedeao », une démarche visant à aboutir à la libération des 46 soldats « dans les plus brefs délais ».
La justice malienne a inculpé le 15 août 2022 les 49 militaires ivoiriens détenus à Bamako pour tentatives d’atteinte à la sécurité de l’Etat. Après des contacts avec les officiels maliens trois soldates ivoiriennes ont été libérées et ont regagné la Côte d’Ivoire le 3 septembre 2022.
« Le 9 septembre 2022, alors que l’on s’entendait à la libération prochaine des 46 autres soldats, dont l’arrestation était considérée par le Mali comme une affaire judiciaire, les autorités maliennes ont demandé qu’en contrepartie de la libération de ces 46 militaires, la Côte d’Ivoire extrade vers le Mali des personnalités qui selon (Bamako) bénéficient de la protection de la Côte d’Ivoire pour déstabiliser le Mali », indique la déclaration du Conseil national de sécurité.
Pour Abidjan, cette demande confirme une fois de plus le fait que ses soldats « ne sont en aucun cas des mercenaires mais plutôt des otages ». Le Conseil national de sécurité présidé par le président Alassane Ouattara considère ce « chantage inacceptable et exige la libération sans délai » des 46 soldats détenus.
Les autorités ivoiriennes rappellent sans cesse que les personnalités politiques maliennes sur son sol ne sont pas autorisées à exprimer leur point de vue politique sur le Mali conformément aux lois ivoiriennes.
Rappelons que quarante-neuf (49) militaires ivoiriens avaient été arrêtés le 10 juillet 2022 à Bamako. Trois soldates ont été ensuite libérées pour raison « humanitaire ». La Côte d’Ivoire affirme qu’ils ont tous été déployés au Mali en qualité de 8e détachement de l’élément de soutien national au sein de la Minusma.
