Africa50 | Lomé 2023 : déjà, 21 projets d’infrastructures à plus de 6,6 milliards de dollars US à travers 22 pays en Afrique
Les assises de l’Assemblée générale des actionnaires d’Africa50 et du Forum Infra for Africa sont ouvertes à Lomé dans la capitale togolaise, ce lundi 03 juillet 2023, sous l’égide du chef de l’État togolais, Son Excellence Faure Essozimna Gnassingbé.
Premier du genre sur le sol togolais à l’initiative panafricaine du chef de l’État togolais, Lomé est un véritable carrefour du commerce africain devenu aujourd’hui un hub logistique et d’affaires de premier plan dans la sous région et sur le continent selon le DG d’Africa50, Alain EBOBISSÉ.
« Nous sommes toujours fiers de pouvoir soutenir vos grandes idées pour le continent, par exemple à travers des initiatives telles que l’Alliance pour les infrastructures vertes en Afrique ou le Forum Africain de l’Investissement et soyez rassuré qu’Africa50 sera toujours là pour apporter sa contribution » a t-il rappelé.
Avec l’abondance de ressources naturelles et humaines en Afrique, l’Africa50 est prêt à relever le défi de créer les infrastructures à la croissance du continent selon le DG.
Il sera donc question durant les deux jours de travaux de se pencher sur trois aspects clés tels que l’innovation, la mobilisation des ressources africaines et la rapidité d’exécution.
« Nous n’attendons pas que tout soit parfait pour aller de l’avant sur un projet. Nous sommes conscient des énormes besoins de notre continent. (…) C’est pourquoi nous nous devons d’agir avec un véritable sens de l’urgence », a déclaré le Camerounais, M. Ebobissé
« D’ici à 2030, une personne sur 5 dans le monde sera africaine. Il s’agira largement des jeunes en quête d’opportunités. Nous leur devons de faire vite et de déployer les infrastructures dont ils auront besoin pour s’épanouir, créer des sociétés, innover, communiquer et bâtir le futur auquel ils aspirent », a ajouté Alain Ebobissé.
Africa 50 a participé au financement de 21 projets d’infrastructures à travers 22 pays à plus de 6,6 milliards de dollars US en 6 ans d’existence, a affirmé Alain Ebobissé, dans son discours d’ouverture du Forum Infra For Africa et de l’assemblée générale des actionnaires de l’institution.
