Le Togo en tant qu’étoile montante du continent en matière d’investissement retiendra surtout l’attention des participants.
Plusieurs thématiques liées notamment au déblocage des opportunités en matière d’infrastructures en Afrique, aux transports et à la logistique, aux fondations pour libérer et accomplir la vision de la Zone de libre-échange continentale africaine (ZLECAf) seront abordées.
Le Togo fait partie des actionnaires de Africa50, créé par des gouvernements africains et la Banque africaine de développement (BAD) pour promouvoir le financement dans les infrastructures sur le continent.
Africa50, une initiative du Groupe de la Banque africaine de développement (BAD), est une plateforme d’investissement destinée au financement de projets d’infrastructures nationaux et régionaux pour la transformation structurelle des économies africaines.
Africa50 vise à libérer tout le potentiel de croissance du continent et à offrir l’appui et les ressources nécessaires au bouclage rapide des financements de projets d’infrastructure. La structure se caractérise par sa nature multidimensionnelle, couvrant l’ensemble du cycle des projets depuis l’idée du projet jusqu’à son financement. Africa50 est une entité autonome légalement et financièrement indépendante. Elle bénéficiera d’un partenariat étroit avec la BAD et les Etats africains pour faciliter l’atteinte rapide des objectifs de développement.
