Lomé accueille le Togocom FIMO 228 , l’un des festivals les plus impressionnants en Afrique de l’Ouest du 14 au 19 février 2023.
Des créateurs et des mannequins de tout le continent se sont réunis ce week-end à Lomé, la capitale du Togo, pour le Festival international de la mode de la ville, connu sous le nom de Fimo.
Au rang de quelques grands créateurs présent à ce grand festival de la mode, on peut citer : Parfait Ikouba du Cameroun, Imparti Moda de l’Allemagne, Yemi Okounsoya de Londres, Helmer Joseph du Canada, Desmo Design du Togo, Grâce Wallace.
Il y a aussi eu des ateliers sur la photographie et le maquillage.
Le thème de Fimo cette année est la mode éco-responsable car l’industrie du vêtement est considérée comme l’une des plus dommageables pour l’environnement.
Certains créateurs ont imaginé des créations avec des matériaux moins polluants, ou avec des tissus délaissés.
D’autres donnent une seconde vie à de vieux vêtements.

Rappelons toujours que le FIMO 228 a pour objectif de créer un réseau d’échange et une collaboration pérenne entre les créateurs en Afrique. Aussi FIMO 228, se veut un cadre pour former les jeunes créateurs ou aspirants créateurs sur l’entrepreneuriat de la mode, promouvoir le talent des jeunes créateurs et mannequins et lutter contre la précarité.
