Seulement quelques heures après la décision du Directeur des cultes de sanctionner les nuisances sonores dans les églises et surtout celles qui se proclament « réveillées » et qui troublent la quiétude des riverains dans nos villes, campagnes et presque partout où il y a vie humaine, le ministre de l’administration territoriale, Payadowa Boukpessi vient quant à lui, mettre tout simplement fin à l’implantation de nouveaux lieux de cultes au Togo.
Il est difficile dans tout le Togo, de visiter un quartier sans église. Les lieux de culte y sont légions pour une cohabitation pas toujours paisible. Pourtant malgré la prolifération des églises tantôt « réveillées », tantôt « mortes », et les danses du dimanche, l’Eternel qui pourvoi reste lent à ouvrir à ces fidèles les écluses des cieux, contrairement à ailleurs où l’on met le travail et la recherche du bonheur en apprenant à pêcher et non à prier tout le long de la journée.
La grosse arnaque
A l’analyse des autres continents, on se rend rapidement compte que l’installation des lieux de culte est maitrisée par une organisation qui ne permet pas, contrairement à chez nous au Togo, que chacun, au nom de la liberté de culte et de penser, installe n’importe où, même dans sa chambre, une église ou une cellule de prière.
Une décision salutaire ?
Dans une correspondance adressée aux préfets et maires du Togo, le ministre écrit : « Notre pays connaît des implantations de plus en plus anarchiques de lieux de culte, mépris de la réglementation en vigueur. Dans le souci de mettre fin à ce phénomène, je vous invite à prendre les dispositions nécessaires en vue d’interdire toutes nouvelles implantations de lieux de culte dans vos ressorts respectifs ».
Le ministre invite également les autorités préfectorales et communales sur toute l’étendue du territoire à lui transmettre sans délais les dossiers relatifs aux plaintes des riverains sur les nuisances sonores générées par les lieux de culte pour, dit-il, prendre les mesures qui s’imposent.
Même chez ceux qui nous ont apporté la Bible, on n’a pas une église par quartier.
Pourtant personne, sauf prétention, ne peut dire avoir appris l’existence d’un Être supérieur aux Africains. Et c’est ici que s’installe la problématique des églises, voire des religions qui ont pris racine chez-nous au détriment de nos cultes ancestraux qui avaient développé l’Afrique Egyptienne. Tout se passe chez nous comme si l’espoir d’une vie meilleure passe par des litanies religieuses et l’agenouillement devant des idoles venues de l’occident, voire le délaissement de l’effort physique et intellectuel, du travail qui, nous avait-on appris, éloigne de nous trois grands maux (mots) que sont l’ennui, le vice et le besoin
Rien n’est plus pris au sérieux, certaines églises ou lieux de culte sont devenus des espaces commerciaux dans lequel les maîtres du culte et autres vendeurs d’espoir s’enrichissent sans vergogne sur la triste vie de ceux qui dans le monde réel ont tout perdu, jusqu’à leur âme, et courent se réfugier chez l’homme de Dieu devenu leur seul sauveur sans imaginer un seul instant courir vers le bourreau, un de ces salopards de la cité qui est devenu un véritable loup qui pour se nourrir et s’occuper de sa famille, doit multiplier des astuces et des maisons de culte afin de mieux tondre ses brebis.
Doit-on croire que le gouvernement tente à travers ces décisions, de maîtriser sinon, de mettre un coup d’arrêt à ce « virus spirituel » qui se propage sur la terre de nos aïeux?
Et qu’elle décision pour ces apprentis pasteurs et prophètes ambulants qui crient dans les carrefours et aux devanture de nos maisons déjà à partir de 5h du matin pour disent-ils, nous apporter la bonne nouvelle d’un Dieu qui a pour fils un certain Jésus Christ ?
