Togo/Éducation : Les apprenants de Ste Catherine se familiarisent avec les talents des aveugles de Togoville
Les enseignants et élèves du complexe ont foulé le sol de la ville touristique de Togoville dans la préfecture de Vo le jeudi 07 avril 2022.
Après la visite du site marial de l’église catholique de Togoville et du village lacustre, ils étaient plus de 500 élèves à découvrir l’Institut des Aveugles de Togoville. L’objectif selon les responsables vise à lever l’équivoque et montrer aux apprenants que les personnes en situation de handicap non voyants occupent aussi une place très importante dans la société actuelle.
« Nous sommes venus découvrir aujourd’hui le centre des Aveugles. C’est ma première fois d’être ici » a pesté avec joie Hélène Amavi avant de poursuivre que « je n’ai jamais su que les non voyants peuvent aussi faire facilement ce que font les personnes sans handicap. J’ai vu les non voyants entrain de préparer le repas. C’est vraiment génial ».
Pour Luc, c’est plus qu’étonnant. « Les non voyants font bien la musique même plus que nous. Il y a des pianistes parmi eux, un peu de tout. J’ai adoré leur fanfare » a t-il soutenu.
Après la visite guidée, une pique-nique a meublé la sortie sur au bord du Lac Togo dans le village d’Ekpui.
