Le Centre Médico-social (CMS) Alpha & Oméga créé par l’ONG APED-TOGO, a ouvert ses portes le 2 mai 2018, pour répondre aux besoins en santé publique d’une communauté périurbaine de la ville de Lomé, dont la population croît très rapidement, sans que les structures publiques de services sociaux suivent.
Nous proposons une série de publications, invitant le public à nous suivre dans la découverte de cet établissement, ses structures et les services qu’il offre, non seulement aux patients malades, mais à toute la population des communes riveraines de la Commune du Golfe 7, aux familles, et à toute personne, jusqu’aux confins du monde accessible !
Dans cet article nous partons, très succinctement, à la découverte du plateau technique du Laboratoire :
Les Équipements du laboratoire
« Petit à petit l’oiseau fait son nid », dit-on. Le Labo est modestement équipé à ce jour de :
- Microscope : sert à lire les gouttes épaisses, les selles KOP(kystes, œufs et parasites), et la numération blanche(NB)
- Hémocue : sert à déterminer le Taux d’hémoglobine (TH)
- Centrifugeuse : sert à séparer le sang pour la décantation
- Spectrophotomètre : sert à doser les paramètres biochimiques (glycémie, urée, créatinine, transaminases, Cholestérol, etc….)
- Réfrigérateur : sert à conserver les réactifs et échantillons à la température adéquate.
- Matériel informatique pour la saisie et impression des résultats.
Ce qui manque à ce plateau, c’est : - Automate d’hématologie pour réaliser la NFS (Numération Formule Sanguine), NB-TH. Pour l’instant nous envoyons sous-traiter ces prélèvements ailleurs, en attendant de nous procurer cet autre équipement, sous peu, pour disposer d’un Plateau Technique souhaitable pour répondre aux besoins courants des patients.
