Le comité d’organisation a officiellement lancé la 14e édition
Après une prière de circonstance dédiée aux 48 divinités des Lacs dite par un adepte Vodou, le président du comité d’organisation a lancé officiellement lancé ce jeudi 17 août la 14e édition de élection Miss Epé Ékpé 2023, un évènement culturel mageur qui accompagne depuis plus de 14 ans les célébrations culturelles de la fête traditionnelle de nouvel an en pays Guin-Mina.
C’était en présence d’un partaire de personnalités, notamment des cadres de la préfecture dont l’ancien président de la délégation spéciale d’Aného, Ayayi Ayivi, des conseillers municipaux venus des 4 communes des Lacs et du Golfe 4. Aussi étaient présents à cette rencontre annonciatrice, des opérateurs économiques, des sponsors et partenaires et des professionnels des médias.
Placé sous le thème « sauvergarde du patrimoine culturel » les quinze candidates qui convoitent la couronne de la reine de beauté des Lacs que coiffe actuellement Mlle Betina Johnson, la miss Epé Ékpé 2022, auront à démontrer leurs savoir-faire en matière culinaire, de danse et autres traditions Guin Mina. Miss Epé Ékpé, est un événement emblématique qui met en valeur la beauté des femmes des quatre communes de la préfecture des Lacs, ainsi que la richesse culturelle de la localité.
Selon Kangni Enyonam Agbemédji, président du comité d’organisation, les préparatifs de cette 14e édition se déroulent de manière satisfaisante. Ce dernier a saisi l’occasion pour inviter les médias et la population des 4 communes de la préfecture des Lacs et du Togo entier à se joindre à cet événement culturel et de beauté, l’un des plus vieux événement culturel qui accompagne la fête traditionnelle « Yaka-Okin » .
« Le spectacle d’une durée d’un peu plus de 2 heures offrira une expérience immersive, alliant variété, originalité et tradition, tout en mettant en lumière le riche patrimoine culturel des peuples Guin Mina. Les candidates joueront un rôle actif dans la mise en scène du spectacle, fusionnant harmonieusement tradition et modernité pour offrir au public une représentation captivante », a lancé Kangni Enyonam Agbemadji alias ‘Alino’, président du comité d’organisation avant de poursuivre « Nous ne souhaitons pas dévoiler les surprises à ce lancement. Lors de cette conférence de presse annonciatrice de la 14e édition de Miss Epé 2023, le comité d’organisation a procédé à la remise des prix à Mlle JOHSON Bintowa Rosaline, Miss EPE-EKPE 2022 et Tinda Imelda et Tsinfe Reine, respectivement 1ère dauphine et 2ème dauphine.
Dans la foulée, M. Agbemadji a lancé un appel à l’endroit des responsables municipaux et préfectoraux, des cadres, chefs d’entreprises, ainsi que les filles et fils sans exception des quatre communes des Lacs, à se mobiliser et apporter leur soutien multiforme pour la pérennisation de cet évènement cultuel, Miss Epé Ékpé.
