Togo/Éducation:Le couple BIDC-kokoroko, pour une amélioration des infrastructures scolaires et universitaires
Le ministère de l’enseignement primaire et secondaire, technique et de l’artisanat a reçu en début de semaine un lot de matériels de bureaux et d’équipements informatiques de la part de la banque d’investissement et de développement de la CEDEAO (BIDC)
La cérémonie de réception des lots s’est plutôt déroulée à la présidence de l’université de Lomé, et a vue la présence d’imminentes personnalités telles que le président de la BIDC Dr Donkor Nana George, le professeur Dodzi Komlan Kokoroko, Ministre dudit portefeuille et également président de l’université de Lomé. Il s’est fait assisté par Eké Kokou Hodin, Ministre délégué Chargé de l’Enseignement technique et de l’Artisanat.
Pour kokoroko, cette cérémonie de dons de la BIDC répond à un double problématique. « La première est en adéquation avec l’agenda politique du gouvernement qui entend se saisir de la qualité de l’enseignement et l’amélioration des infrastructures scolaires et universitaires. Et à ce titre, le gouvernement togolais n’est pas aux abonnés absents et se distingue au jour le jour par de grands projets au profit de ce secteur. Le deuxième facteur est la rencontre de deux esprits : le président de la BIDC et ma modeste personne qui demeurent inlassables serviteurs de l’intérêt général et de l’école ».
Mais la question essentielle qu’il faut se poser est pourquoi la célébration d’un événement du ministère de l’enseignement primaire dans l’enceinte de l’université de Lomé ?
Le professeur répond : « au-delà de ce qui nous est octroyé, nos institutions ont des lignes budgétaires pour s’équiper en outils informatiques. Alors le vrai glissement et la vraie portée de cette cérémonie, c’est un partenariat que nous célébrons. Mais ce partenariat met en lumière l’Université de Lomé. Nous avons un centre d’excellence en aviaire que nous appelons communément le CERSA, et je peux vous assurer que les ambitions qui sont les nôtres au-delà des volets formation éducation, l’Université de Lomé se doit d’être une véritable entreprise et à cet titre dans le secteur avicole, c’est la BIDC qui entend accompagner l’Université de Lomé pour développer de façon managériale et hautement qualifié un arrimage au marché de l’emploi, un véritable centre aviaire qui sera délocalisé à Kovié et qui devrait être piloté par le CERSA pour que la suffisance alimentaire avicole au Togo soit une réalité. Vous l’aurez compris désormais tout le sens et la portée de cette cérémonie et nous n’écrirons pas le Togo en petit, mais nous l’écrirons toujours en grand ».
La BIDC finance des projets de développement dans divers secteurs de la société notamment la santé, l’agriculture, les infrastructures, l’hôtellerie et surtout l’éducation. Elle œuvre dans les 15 états, membres de la CEDEAO.
